The Gap I Close

Younger professionals are told to join boards long before anyone tells them what board service actually requires. They step into rooms unsure of what is expected, how decisions get made, or how to contribute meaningfully. Boards feel that same gap from the other side, investing in new members who take time to find their footing, or who step away before they ever do.

I help colleges, employers, and mission driven organizations prepare students and emerging leaders to seek and serve on boards with confidence, so they arrive ready to contribute and boards gain members who are effective sooner and stay longer.

Alongside this work, I partner with organizations on program design, program management, and capacity building, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to work that needs it.

Recent partners include the African American Leadership Academy, Columbus Urban League Young Professionals, Cambium Learning Group, See Brilliance, and Urban Aviators Society, along with classroom sessions delivered at The Ohio State University.
